    HELLLLPPPPPP!!!!!

    2018 Ranger 521L
    2018 Evinrude G2 with Icon

Fishing along last weekend, active target, bow graph and console graph on. As I fished I noticed the graphs shut off. Went to another spot, motor started fine, livewells running fine (fishing a tournament) I went to trim using the blinker trim and had NOTHING!!!!! Trim worked at throttle and on motor. Graphs will not power on, blinker trim will NOT work. BAttery Voltage seems to be good, it was drawing low with everything running daily in a 3 day tournament. Charged them full that night, still same issue.

    This is driving me nuts!!!

Removed Graph, HDS 16 out of console, pulled plugs on two fuses, both only "5";s but looked intact, fuse on the front graph removed from bow again only "5" but looked good. Breaker in back is not in the reset mode. Running a Bep, Auto breaker.

I will add, key pad is functioning, ICON screen reading --- on all windows, no readings; rpm, fuel, hours, PSI etc.

    WHAT AM I MISSING

What is the voltage at the battery posts? What brand/model battery? How old is it?

Quite possibly you lost a ground connection.

Sounds like that to me also. Check and clean all grounds. Those “5” fuses are five amp fuses and are perfect for he power feeds they are protecting.

Had a similar issue using a common ground.

hence I like running clean lines to and from the battery to my graphs using marine duplex.

    How are your graphs wired?

Basically ! If you know HOW your wiring is wired it would be a process of elimination. That's the beauty of either having a wiring schematic OR having a knowledge of the way it's wired in your system. Start at the power source( battery) and work your way to the components that don't work. Good luck and report back with your progress.

If the blinker system doesn't work and the other trim controls work, you have a wiring issue. All the trim controls are straight wires, if they are connected, they either work or don't. Not associated with the low voltage issues.

knowing that the Blinker Switches don't work, somewhere you lost the Power connection to the switches. Blinker Switches do not have a Ground Wire. I would suspect that there is a Buss Bar that the Power / Hot Wire became disconnected some how, thus losing power to your Graphs and Blinker Switches.

The blinkers should be hardwired to the other trim controls. If they don't work (apparently) the red wire to the blinkers no longer has +12 volts on it. It's possible someone selected a different bus to power them when they were installed. I don't think blinkers are a factory installed accessory but they might be.

    HUH?
Isn't that what I said that the Blinker Switcher lost power???
Is it not Hardwire if you connect wires via a Buss Bar?

OK. I usually hook blinkers up to the wiring of the throttle switch, which is USUALLY in parallel with the bow, and motor switch. If someone decided to only use the green and blue and not the red, so be it. Just a choice I suppose. They could have chosen (and apparently did) a different bus.

Well here's a place to check which happened to me , the on off power switch that is back by battery's take the cover off see if the wires are tight might be lose and only giving out so much power Mine was bit lose and kind of did same thing you described , tighten them up and good to go . so just maybe something to check
