Can you shed any light on why the "Update is being finalized" recurs twice every time the PRO units are turned on?
I don't know. I will check mine tomorrow and see if this occurs on my units, but didn't notice it today. I seem to remember that being a message during the updating process, so I am wondering if you didn't let the update finish?

Marc, rest assured the update was allowed to finish on 4 different attempts. One via USB, two via micro SD, and one last microSD attempt after reinstalling 23.3. Additionally, hard and soft resets do not fix the recurring message.Originally Posted by Marc Marcantonio

I have Live and Pro units. Do I need to download the update specific to each one or will the Live update work on the Pro and vice versa.
That is normal and expected for a fresh update.
What is not normal is that it repeats every time you start the unit. Apparently, the new normal is an update that really never finalizes. It's disappointing to see to say the least.
Both of my Pros do it but appear to run fine. Who knows. You woulda thought they would have caught something that obvious before release.
Marc I also notice at 14:55 your unit is trying to connect to the "upstairs office". Do you have Wifi turned on in the MFD?
Yes, I did have WIFI turned on, but usually have it off.

I am told the message goes away once on the water and the system finalizes after the transducer is in operation. Will know for sure once I get out on the lake next week.

No update ALL!
Both of mine do the same thing, they show version 25.1 though. They were allowed to finish the update too.
I also updated both Lives and neither one have the message. I run AT 2 through my Pro 12 to my live 16, if I split the screens there is still a lot or real estate on the sides unlike Marc's updated Pro 16.

I updated yesterday....had the message on boot up test....was out on the local river today using both units...just went out to the garage and booted up the units to see if the update message was still there. (HDS Pro 10s) The Update Message is still there after being on the water most of the day.
(I do not have Active Target. Just the 3x1 HD Transducer on the jack plate and a basic traditional sonar on the Xi5 trolling motor. I updated because I have a Recon on order)

That message shows only on the Pro and I heard that little annoying message going to be fix soon and yes it’s only on the Pro.
Lowrance IT strikes again... when was thier last update that didnt' break something or create some additional issues... been a few years I think
Only had my AT2 for couple of weeks. Updated my AT and my Elite FS 9 last night. I used it today not getting the message on my screen but the picture on my AT2 is 10 times better, very impressed.
Does it bring back the missing TM voltage overlay that the Ghost 1.3 update removed?
