    about to buy this setup

I bought a boat without any graphs. I am tempted to just go with this setup: 2 garmin 93sv UHD2's (one at bow and one at console) and the 106 ultra2 livescope bundle. The livescope bundle is the biggest hang up for me. I only bought the boat for 5k and feels weird to have more in electronics than I do the boat itself. Do you think the livescope bundle prices are the best they will be for a while or will this just be the price going forward?

Until something new comes out, this will be the best bundle price you will get right now for a while....keep in mind, its spring time, fishing season is starting up for the new year for some, Bassmaster Classic is this month, etc. so they have a sale going on and Garmin very rarely puts their stuff on sale. I would think this sale will end after the classic or at end of the month......And no, we do not know when something new is coming out, they do not announce anything until the day of release.

I have a 106 Ultra at bow and 93SV UHD at console. I am happy with it with one exception, map update time on on the 93SV. I have several trails marked in very skinny water and the map update can’t keep up in sharp turns on plain. Makes me pucker.
When money allows, I am planning to move the 10 inch to console ( it has a dual processor ) and buy a 12 inch for the bow.

Garmin's sale is going on until the end of this month. It is the same sale they ran for December. Not sure when prices will be this low again.

Don't forget the cost of a dedicated lithium battery/charger for all this and good power wiring (not what wiring is currently in the boat)

I have a similar setup, except a 12" for the LS, and have noticed the same issue with the 93. The 9" screen is fine, but the processing power of it can be frustrating at times. I just have to stop sometimes when looking for a waypoint and let it catch up. I'm just fishing for the fun, so it's not that big a deal to me, but could be costly in a tournament.
