    Year 2000 Triton tr20 w/ 2015 pro XS optimax

Hello, I am repowering my 2000 Triton tr20 with a 2015 mercury 200 pro XS . What would be a good prop to start with? It's got a 5" setback stationary Jackplate , 3 3/4 below pad.

25-26" pitch Tempest. Also find a 8-10" jack plate.

What's the reasoning for the farther setback? Thanks for the reply.

More lift, better control, handling, and speed.

So I finally got this boat in the water with the 200 Optimax pro XS on it! I have a 25p Trophy plus prop and prop to pad is approximately 3 3/4. Planes out pretty good but wants to chine like crazy above 60 mph. Is there a different prop to pad that would help with the chine?

Should I unbolt the motor and raise it a hole or move the manual jack plate?

Adjustable jack plate is for that reason unless motor is too far out where the bolts are to reach the number
