The feedback regarding NEXT LEVEL finish has been amazing. We are happy to share that we have approved the LITE version after passing extensive tests for clarity, longevity etc.. including 3rd party UV chambers No smoke and mirrors, just truth and a lot of hard work has gone into researching/developing the NEXT LEVEL offering. We are extremely great-full for the feedback along the way from some of the best in the craft including Doc Ski, Mark Crouse, Nhan Bui, Karry Batson, and others. The goal wasn't to create another finish, we could have done that 12 years ago, instead we set out to develop a formula that rod builders could trust to be different. It had to stay clearer longer, level and release bubbles easier, have a friendly pot life, be durable, etc.. It took 12 years of saying no before we could say Yes! We understand that to some, changing finish is a tough thing to do, we get it, but you owe to yourself to try it. Your builds deserve what we believe to be the best protection they could have.


Regular NEXT LEVEL is a true high build, it is great as if you like high build is or you can thin it with a little heat or a few drops of acetone if you want. Very popular with big game builders, amazing for marbling, coating abalone/shell, gaffs etc..


NEXT LEVEL LITE, is thinner for those who like a slightly lighter build. Both have the same great clearity and UV protection that your builds deserve.
