The St. Croix LTB SK2 reel seat and Megabass IBCS reel seats are just so comfortable, it’s like shaking hands with your fishing rod. Some of these rod builders are really starting to pay attention to comfort.

Id disagree strongly. I feel like I can't hold on tight enough and my hand cramps after 20 minutes or so. It always feels like I'm gonna throw the combo in the lake everytime I cast. Call me old-school, but give me the ECS, or even ACS seat, and I'm happy.
The best revenge is to have enough self-worth not to seek it.
For casting seats I love an ECSM style reel seat, or a PTS.. SK style aren’t bad with an insert between the trigger and the nut, but I’m not a fan of the ACS at all. It’s one of the main reasons why I started making my own rods. Loved a blank and handle, hated the acs reel seat so I barely used the rod. I figured why settle when I could build a rod with better QC with the blank and handle I wanted for cheaper.
for spinning reels I like the standard reel seats or a Fuji VSS. That’s just what’s most comfortable for me
