    Where's all the shed hunters?

Love to look every year while the lake is thawing and warming up. Been on a decent drought the last few years but finally found some numbers and size this year! Found one Monday and paired it up today! What about everyone else?

That one pic is the 4th right side of the same buck, got 4 years worth of right sides of the same ridge, can't find the left side. Up to 17 so far.
I like that freaky side you found op.

I'm going to rebuild that freaky one I found.KIMG2088.JPG

That history is awesome. There was a stretch back in 01-03 that I found a buck 3 years in a row. And I found one side each year 10 feet from where I found the first antler the first year. He went from a 120" to a 160" to a 190"+. I never found him after that. And I was a dumb kid back then and didn't even actively hunt that deer. Makes me want to puke now.
I am up to 17 as well on the year.

Next to bird hunting shed hunting is my favorite activity. Up to 44 for the year for my buddy and I. Think we have 6-7 matched sets so far. Will try to put pic of our best one. Buck I killed this year we had horns going back to 2020. Named him potential based on that set. He didn’t quite become what we thought he might be but the biggest full set we found so far this year (each side 74-75”) is related to him and has been named P2(potential 2) and is on the hit list for next year for sure.

Just started dropping on my ranch. Got a 12pt with an 8" droptine. He comes to my house feeder regularly, still had his antlers yesterday. I'm hoping to find those when they drop.

No looking for a few days here for me but found number 69 for the year Tuesday. Will make one more big push next week. See how close to 100 we can get.

Decided to take one last walk yesterday as fishing season is here. Sure glad I did. Been almost a month but matched up the spork.shed from February. Ending the year with close to 30 sheds and 4 sets.

Hit 75 today. Don’t have any non walked places left I don’t think. Got some stuff to rewalk for sure. Really want to get to 80 plus.

Wow! How many miles did you have to walk to find that many?

great question. No ideas and didn’t really want to know either most likely. Some picked up from the gator and 4 or 5 spotted from the truck while driving. . Quite a few 10-12k step days though for sure. Some of those days 1-2 and some as many as 8-10.

Found the 46th today. Last 3 days have been very productive, these are all woods antlers, no fields, hill and briar walking. Knees are telling me to quit!!
