    Where to launch

We fished Crab all of 2006 then we tried 3 times this year and the water was so low we couldn't launch on the West side, is there a better ramp? I have a deep V bass boat and it actually touched the concrete on the ramp the last time! Must be the angle I guess . Anyway we like to fish there but missed this entire season......
Kincaid was pretty good to us though!

    Thanks

Hickory boat ramp is a pretty good ramp. It is located across from John A. Logan College on Greenbriar Road. Basically it's the first set of stoplights east of the Route 13 bridges that cross the lake. I would guess that with all of the rain recently water levels should be much improved. Can't say for certain though as now all my time is spent on Egypt.

They did away with the stickers several years ago. Now it's just $5 to launch and your good to go. I work at the power plant so we have our own access area. Sorry, I had to rub it in . Pyramid Acres is the easiest to get to and it has plenty of parking. Just exit I57 and follow the LOE signs. You'll drive in front of the plant then across the dam and the sign for Pyramid Acres is on your right about a quarter mile past the spillway. Its really a great lake.
