Weird bilge pump issue…24 Puma STS

So picked up the boat today and everything was working perfectly, drove 5 hours home.
When I get home both bilge pumps are running and display show pumps on auto. Killed all the power via breakers and main switch. Pumps still running and touch pad still lit. I had to pull the min computer 70a fuse to get them the bilge to stop and pad lights off. Dealer is on it but figured I would ask. Oh and boat has the new MFD screens.

The auto float switch is inoperable or hung against something and activated.
Also, check the front navigation light switch for holding power on.

Turns out it's a known issue that happens to "some" boats (guess I'm just lucky), apparently with the new MFD and Lithium there is a power "bleed". Bass Cat is sending me a diode to install. Fingers crossed.

Wouldn’t be a new boat if it didn’t have one silly problem I bet that’s the only one you’ll have though Unless the dealer created some issues in advertently

So took a turn for the worse...the fix didn't work. Boat has to go back to the dealer to replace the main "brain". BCB and Thayers have been great about it. Just an unfortunate situation.

Agreed....was on the phone with a technician in under 5 mins. They are also coming to pick it up then drop off when done. I really couldn't expect any better service.

who is the closest dealer for BCB? is that who is picking it up?

Mare of Aquia is closest but I bought it in CT at Thayers, they are coming to get it.

Might be worth it to try a reboot of the A 10 if you haven’t already. Unplug it from the back for a few minutes.

I'm sure they could but I just picked up the boat Wednesday, Thayer sold it to me.

Boat "brain" upgrade, re-pin and re-wire is complete, Thayer also did an on water test for me. Everything is back working 100%. They are driving it down to me Saturday!

Props to Thayer and Bass Cat for making a bad situation a bit easier to handle with excellent customer service!

I was wondering about that. His boat is a 24 with a MFD. thought they were new for the 2025 model. I decided not to have them on my 25 Puma.

I guess I am "special".
I absolutely love the idea and the functionality of the displays, they do have the hard buttons for key features.
As someone who loves tech, I would choose a display over buttons all day long, I just with I got the 7" ones.
I just hope this doesn't turn into a recurring theme.
