Fished from 3:00pm till a little after 5:00. Caught half a dozen fish. 1 - 4 pounder and 1- 3, four shorties. All fish were caught towards the North end of the lake, on the windy side, on the weed edges, in less than 10 feet of water. The big boy was caught in mere inches.

Caught the 4# and two dinks on a purple glitter Yum Dinger. Pitch to shore and twitch twice, they gobbled it up. The other three were caught on a 1/4oz. popper (but I'm not gonna tell you what brand or color; it's my "secret weapon"!!!).

Had a great afternoon, but should've got there earlier. Goin' back today right after lunch...

And again on the 25th...

Conditions were almost identical, except the water temp. was down to 63-65* and the wind was 5mph stronger. We fished from 9:30 till about 2:00, and only caught 6 between us.

Big fish was a 16 incher. 4 out of the six were caught on a T-rigged Culprit 7" worm, red shad, and two were caught on a 5/16 oz. Eakins jig w/ a NetBait trailer. The bite was VERY slow and SOFT, and you had to really pay attention to your line, which was kind of a neat trick with all the wind.

Had a 50-boat tourney on the lake the same day, so maybe it was the pressure? I don't know, but I blamed it on my partner. He loves it when I do that...
