First time over in a month. 0530--1200. One keeper and one short on buzzbait. Had three more shorts on a jig. Also tried dropshot, T-rig and spook on points. Good to finally get back out. Seemed to be more guys fishing and fewer PWC's, etc. First time I've thought that over there.

Can't believe they weren't biting. Did you fish in the grass at all?

We absolutely SLAYED 'em on Coffen that same day. Weather was perfect, too.

I was there Sat all day for a T and it was a slow day. Got 6 myself (all unders), and I fished everything. My partner had 5 as well with the biggest bass being 15.5", he also had a 42" Muskie, and a 24" Muskie.

He went out there yesterday and today and the bite has totally changed. Very shallow, and big bass are biting!! Mainly in grass, but also a few off rocks. Im guessing they are shallow again due to the rain raising the water height.

Thanks for the follow-up. I fished in the grass mostly, but did not key on particularly shallow grass. Stayed on points and breaks. Spent about 25% of my time on some other stuff. Tried to focus on where grass/wood came together. Sounds like I was there a day or two before it turned loose....again!!

Yeah, i did the same thing PapaTom. I'll be out there this weekend for sure, trying to stay clear of boat traffic.
