Boat Purchasing
Hello everyone, sorry in advance for the long text.
I am currently in the market for a bass boat and I’m hoping to find some honest answers on here. I have narrowed it down to 2 boats. One is a 2018 Falcon F195 with a Pro XS 200 4 stroke, the other is a 2013 Ranger Z520C with a 2019 Yamaha 250 sho 4 stroke. The Mercury has around 180 hours and the Yamaha has around 100. I’m mainly trying to see which boat people on here would be the better buy. Both have similar electronic upgrades and seem to be in pretty good shape.
I fish Texas lakes ranging between 2,000 and 30,000 acres. I primarily fish shallow but will go deep if I can’t get bit. The prices of the 2 boats are very similar as well and my main concern is that the Falcon won’t be able to handle chop. I had an old fishing friend of mine once say “I’ve never heard someone say I should’ve bought the smaller boat.” And this is my main concern, any advice or examples would be great even if it’s just an opinion on what yall think the better boat is!
Thanks in advance!

I can’t speak on the 195. My last boat was a champion 203 elite and it was an amazing ride. But my f21te falcon is just as good if not better when it comes to ride quality in rough water. I haven’t heard of anyone have issues with falcons and rough water. But hopefully someone with a 195 can give some insight.
