    Suzuki 200 V6 Prop Recommendations

I just ordered one of the new V6 200s and looking for recommendations on prop and size. It’s going on a Triton 197 Magnum aluminum bass boat. The boat is aluminum but has the high performance hull and pad like a fiberglass. It came from the factory with a 200 Optimax that ran a 25 tempest prop.

You would really need to start by knowing what the gear ratio is. Previously the gear ratio on most 200 hp V6 was a 2.25 to 1 ratio the 250 stealth bass boat motor has a different gear ratio also of which I do not know right off the bat. The older 250 SS bass boat motor had a 2.08 to 1 gear ratio. Thus making it very difficult to make any accurate decisions, spontaneously.

I can't wait to hear (read) how the V6 does!!! Suzuki needs to put the SS gearcase on it. Maybe it's on there anyway.

See If you can get your hands on a 24 or 25 scorpion to try. Depending on when you get your engine I have a 23, 24 scorpion and a 22 Lexor you can try.
