Which, when I think about it does make sense. Just keep the Helix G4N MDI+ on the bow for the time being, and grab the Apex 13 MSI for the console. Or even a nice low cost used Solix G3, for that matter, for a lesser cost option. (reason I am not considering the Xplore is it's inability to share wayponts, etc with my existing Helix, unless I am mis-understanding that point).
You're good on waypoint sharing until you update a Solix or Apex to a version that starts with a 5. You would want to find out what version a NIB Apex would be using before purchasing.

The mfg date will show what level the software is==first six digits of the serial number YY/MM/DD.
5.060 was released Dec 11, 2024 which changed the menus to match the Xplore.

My vote is still for the Apex 16 on the bow. If you’re going down to using (2) graphs from (3) and your intention is to use it for mapping, M360, and DI. Think the better resolution and larger screen will really make a difference up front. As for the console… I’m sure an Apex 13 would be sweet there, but being that you sit closer to the screen than at bow I feel like you would be fine with the Xplore 12 if an Apex wasn’t in the budget.

I recently purchased a Solix 12" for mega 360 and was using a 10" solix for mapping. I knew with the waters I fish and depth that my 360 would stay in forward view which is why I went with the 12" and not bigger. For reasons mentioned on this board, this week I purchased a 13" apex that will be for my 360 and moving my 12" for mapping and sold my 10".
