    Ranger z21 2010 trailer help

    Hello there!
Looking for help in regards to a ranger trailer z21 brake lines and master cylinder for the brake lines. Can anybody give me a comparable product? I need to change these on my Ranger trailer. Any sort of reference number would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

Pics would be helpful. More than likely you have a UFP A – 60. I believe Dexter now owns the UFP product line. The master cylinder can be replaced. Depending on the condition of your actuator, you may find it more cost-effective to replace the entire inner unit. Just know that there are separate units depending on if you have one axle with brakes or two axles with brakes. Note that just because you have two axles does not mean that you have two sets of brakes.

With regard to the brake lines, the main line is steel, and you can replace that by fabricating your own. I forget the size, but I bought a kid off of Amazon that included a variety of threaded end points. I have a double flare tool so I was able to fabricate my own line from raw materials. A perhaps better alternative is to measure the length of the steel line and buy a premade flexible line. Ranger ran the hard line through steel tubes in the trailer and they tend to rot from moisture. There are three flexible lines (brakes on one axel setups) that can be measured and you just need to identify the ends. If you took pics and work with one of the trailer supply houses, you could probably get everything you need. I’ve had good luck with Eastern Marine and Pacific trailer. I think we also have a sponsor on the board who specializes in trailer parts. There is no need to buy Ranger stuff. You just need to source these parts from supply houses.

Feel free to send us some pictures of your actuator, we can figure it out pretty quick with a picture. You can email us at parts@brakes4trailers.com or text us at 916-910-0008. We stock pretty much every boat trailer surge brake actuator out there and a bunch of the components as well. Odds are its going to be a UFP or Tie Down and like Shall36 mentioned, they are both owned by Dexter. Actuators

As for the brake lines, we have some pre-made stuff and we can make custom make anything you need, just give is a call. Brake Lines

If it is a Tie Down LP80 then this replacement kit should probably work, it is pretty popular for us. Unfortunately, we don't carry the master cylinder separate, we just sell the complete unit. Feel free to send us some pictures if you'd like to have us confirm. 916-910-0008

A fully replacement like the Demco may be a better option.
