Previously the gear ratio on most 200 hp V6 was a 2.25 to 1 ratio the 250 stealth bass boat motor has a different gear ratio also of which I do not know right off the bat. The older 250 SS bass boat motor had a 2.08 to 1 gear ratio. Thus making it very difficult to make any accurate decisions, spontaneously.
