    Re: Thanks Dale (Subman)

I'm going w/ another coastie from work. Dale is heading down w/ a partner TBD. Jay Law is driving from Mobile and picking up his partner in Pensacola (a marine I think). A good friend of mine currently stationed in Miami is also registered. I know of two other Coasties driving in from out of state. I think Mike Lake is interested and hopefully he will be bringing his new PII.

I think we will have a good turn out. We won't have the numbers seen in the annual DOD tournament, but then again the Coast Guard isn't as big as DoD. Regardless of the number of boats it will be great time. The Butler Chain is a beautiful chain of lakes and I really look forward each year to fishing it. I can't wait!

For those wondering what we are talking about go to http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/is...S.htm for details.

Oh Billy works for sure. He is forced to be fishing lake Seminole for nearly 2 weeks straight and he only gets a couple of days off from fishing. I feel for him. Good luck in the Stren Series.

Unfortunately I didn't hit the river as expected. My coworker backed out and my wife talked me into staying home and helping w/ the pre-house for sale-chores.

Billy is just a big hairy winning machine! Some one needs to trade Billy a Ranger for his Stratos quick. He can make $35,000 and a new 519X Ranger if contigency guidelines are met if he is a Ranger owner. He can only make around $5000 without owning a Ranger. Good luck!

Re: Billy leading the Co-angler Stren Series!! (gcoxvb)

Man I am am torn I am happy for Billy to be doing so well, but he needs to be careful and fall to just outside the top 10 to say #11, Ya see I mad e Billy a promise that I would drive over (3 hours) and watch saturdays weigh in if he makes the cut So now he is close to making me keep my promise! Actually, Billy I am just kidding I will be there if you make the cut, We are proud of ya, I am going to guess he is going to hvae around 8 lbs today and remain in a close lead. Weather may be a factor though, his "pro" is a Flippin guy and it is very cloudy today over this way, So i am not sure how well that technique is going to hold, on on seminole I think they may be roaming a little on the outside edges of the grass and the ledges.

Re: Billy took 6th in the Stren Series co-anlger (rlb8s)

Thanks guys!! I wish that I could have done a little better.. HOWEVER I made the top 10 in my 1st event!! to Jay who drove over 4 hours and 270 miles one way to see me weigh in!! (IDIOT) And YES I bought his dinner!! Also good to meet Neil maxpress for coming out and meeting myself and Jay at the weigh in. As far as the Ranger thing goes, I need to buy a 15' alum ranger jonboat, because I sure as heck don't want to own a leadsled to fish out of!! J/K I fished out of a Ranger all days and the back of the boat was very nice!!

Yeah Billy you need to pick up a 2000 or newer model not to fish out of but just to have, try to find one that has been totaled, and just go register it, that way you can be eligible for a new boat (that you wouldsell of course!), and it wont cost you much.
