    Suzuki 20hp making oil?

My suzuki 20 4 stroke makes oil, (fuel dilution). I've had it for 5 or 6 years now and it's always done it. I know I couldn't break it in to spec as here in jolly old England there's almost nowhere you're allowed to go faster than 5mph. Ridiculous I know, so the boat spends most of it's time at mid rpms pottering along. Other than very early mornings when I can run it fast for about 1/4 mile at a time I don't easily have a chance to open it up. Is there anything you could suggest to help the situation, other than frequent oil changes?

Replace 50c thermostat with 60c thermostat, no ethanol fuel and 100% petroleum base crankcase oil. Fuel could also going into crankcase from the plunger o ring on the back side of the fuel pump on the valve cover.

The 60c stat so it runs hotter to evaporate the fuel from the oil?

well I’m still studying your statement. Trying to incorporate it. However, increasing the temperature would increase fuel efficiency and cylinder sealing.
