Lake Okeechobee

I have a club tournament on Feb 11 and 12. Since I have never been a boater on the lake where do I fish? What should I use?
We will launch from Okee Tanie

throw the Big EZ in watermelon made by gambler. the pass west of okeetanie out by buckhead ridge will be good if you have some low light times other wise head down to the north shore area and look for clear water over submerged grass beds. lots of bites. Just have to be patient for a big one.
