I'm headed down from here in GA on Thursday a.m. Never seen the place before, heard horror stories about, but we'll see. Looks like a ton of water to fish; with this warming trend, ought to be fish all over the banks.

All the pros found them 2 weeks ago. The weather was even colder than now. This is the only BFL i am missing this year in the Gator division. Not sure if the fish are all moving up yet or not, but if so i would go check the canals near the ramp in little harris. I have always found fish in them.

What do you guys think about Griffin? Seems, from looking at Flash Earth, that it has the most diverse choices of cover. I'll bet those areas either side of the Haynes Creek canal will be very popular...some good looking stuff from what I can tell. Is that where Snowden was on them last year?
I'll be there fishin the tournament, prefished today and caught a limit . water is warmin up it was 60+ today. probly had about 16# w/ the biggest at 6# +. Should be awesome this weekend.
I agree G-1, should be a good time. Hope you didn't burn all your luck up yesterday. How'd you do at Kissimmee, I was 19th. Couldn't turn a big head all day, but we caught app 30-35 fish between me and co-. He finished third on his side. It was a blast for sure.

I spent some time in the Cane Pole, my kinda place. Ron is a trip. I ended up 18th in this...I was kinda' proud of that, being that I'd never seen the place before Thursday. Had 14-12 and thought I was doing something until I saw the bags that guys were dropping on the scales. I fished 9th St canal and it looked like the blessing of the fleet first thing. Endless string of boats for the first 25-30 minutes. I was boat 25 and there were probably 5 boats already in there when I arrived.
I was in the blue/silver Champion camped in the front part all day, if any of you guys ventured in there.
Nice job ! You beat me out by a hair I had 14.9 and wound up 21st . You fishin the next one coming up in april?
Oh yeah. Hopefully I'll get down there a weekend during the break to do some more scouting before I head down to practice on the Thursday prior. I still don't know much about that place, just happened to find a couple of less obvious spots that had a few fish on them.
