Can you run around in the flats just any where, or are some spots to low??

    Re: Holiday Park (fishin fever)

I know there were so bass boats out in the flats this past Sunday and they caught some fish. But just so you know 16 pounds won the local tournament Sunday. I would still fish Lake Okeechobee. I hear they are having a field day in the rim ditch.

    Just my opinion.

My son won the TX this past weekend with 4 fish, weight 17 plus. The flats are full of water but the fishing is poor. I think you can go just about anywhere on the flats right now.

Congrats on his win. 4 fish, over 17lbs is pretty good. Thanks for the help!!! Never been out on the flats but would love to try it. Maybe this weekend I might try to get out there on Sunday.

    Re: Holiday Park (fishin fever)

Normally April and May are one of the best months to fish holiday park. The water is usually low and fish are pushed back into the canals. This year it looks as if that will not happen. I have always said for years May is the best month of the year for top water. Lets see what happens.

I am heading down this weekend and was wondering if Holiday Park would be best or Lox? Does anyone have any recent as in past weekend results from either place?

    Thanks guys.
