    OLD SCHOOL OPEN RESULTS
A total of 12 teams came out to the 1st ever Old School tournament in the DMV yesterday. By "Making Waves using Old Ways", this format was well accepted by all in attendance and most liked it and want another. Maybe we will try another one sometime this year. Anyway, after a very chilly 16 degree start, some healthy Lake Anna bass were weighed in. Thanks Lee Martin for your continued help.
    1st......Harris & Cobb..........................24.23 lbs
    BF.......Harris & Cobb.............................7.16 lbs
    2nd....Seale & Deeds..........................13.74 lbs
    3rd.....Lively & Strickler.......................13.36 lbs
    4th.....McMannus.................................. 10.68 lbs
    5th.....Weigand................................... ......5.94 lbs
    6th.....Whitmer & Stanley.....................4.74 lbs
Remaining teams did not weigh fish

Wow. I would be willing to bet if someone started a no FFS trail fishing Kerr Lake, Lake Gaston, Falls Lake, Jordan Lake, I would think you can get 20+ boats each tournament.

Live bait is pretty "Old School". If it's not in the rules, it's not a rule.

Expected you would get more than 12.
It does explain why almost every boat I saw on the water was still “scoping” including some tournament regulars
