I am going to Welaka Oct 25th - 31. I have fished here in the spring for years but have never had the chance to make it down in the fall. I was wondering what the fishing is like then. Any info greatly apreciated.

fish are schooling right now.... look around the mouths of creeks for the higher percentage areas. when they are up throw a spook or some other top water walking bait (sammy, etc.) when they are down throw a carolina rig w/ a finesse worm (red bug or watermelon red work for me). a little further north i found some fish ( bass and redfish in with the mullet and gar feeding at the tide change from incoming to outgoing. look for eel grass and shell bars
