Do you have an upcoming trolling motor installation in 2025? Mounting challenges? You don't want the trolling motor to overhang the boundary of the boat? Not sure where to place the trolling motor? Do you want to place the motor down the side of the gunwale?
WE HAVE WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR! www.shuttleslide.com
ShuttleSlide has been a BBC sponsor for many years and has helped so many boaters! We manufactures high-end, quality, and durable ROTATING and SLIDING trolling motor mounting systems -- in operation since 2016!
Option 1:
Choose one of our SLIDING mounts. We have three categories: HD, UHD and EXD. -- SLIDE the trolling motor inboard, away from the bow and keep it safe.
The sliding mount you need depends upon the trolling motor you will use, where on the deck you can add holes and how far back you want to slide the motor. ShuttleSlide easily retracts your motor into the boat (you decide how much retraction you need). How much overhang do you want to eliminate? Our mount can sit further back on the deck, where it's flat (making the installation easier). We also have adapter plates that can help you reuse your existing holes in your deck!!!!
**Our sliding mounts also have a quick release function built in. Simply remove the 2 back travel stops (bolts) and SLIDE the motor off the back.
Our engineering team created "reach extensions" because as our product gained popularity, there were some boat designs that had challenging installs. The flat surface (where you can attach a mount) was too far back from the rub rail. How can you mount a trolling motor when it's 5 or even 9 inches back to the flat deck? You don't need a metal "diving board" sticking off the front of your boat. Our BMAP-RE reach extension allows you to place our mount further back on the deck. It is sold with our UHD series mounts (shafts up to 72" in length).
Our EXD mounts (used for all shaft length trolling motors), automatically come with an extension plate, so no need to purchase the BMAP-RE when you have an EXD mount.
If you have a scissor- style trolling motor (example: Ultrex, Force, Fortrexx), you will need our UHD mount and TMA-1 adapter plate.

Option 2:
If you are looking for the most robust rotating trolling motor mount on the market, at a lower price point than most others, look no further -- ShuttleSlide manufactures our special mounts on-site, in our Florida facility! We control the manufacturing process so we have created long lasting, STRONG mounts at a lower cost. Our in-house engineering team is the best! Need something custom? The rotating mounts are CNC Machined from 1.0″ thick 6061-T6 aluminum, and this strong rotating mounting system is not just anodized, butwe go one step further and use Type III Hard Coat Anodized (hence the dark grey finish) and comes with a lifetime, unlimited use, warranty*. This model rotates fully with 4 locking positions at 0, 30, 60 and 90 degrees. You will not find another mount designed like ours. Uses all 3/8″ 316 Stainless hardware. This mount has taken years of research and testing.
Two rotating mounts to choose from: SS-7.5R and SS-9.5R (require 6 holes in your deck (all 3/8" bolts included) for proper attachment.
SS-7.5R: Base mounting plate is 7.625 inch diameter circle https://shuttleslide.com/product/ss-7-5r/
SS-9.5R: Base mounting plate is 9.5 inch diameter circle - it's the biggest base plate on any rotating mount made today (a larger plate can reduce the stress on the deck and will spread the load to cover more mounting area on your deck). Not all boat decks are made the same - if your deck needs extra support and you have the deck space for a larger plate, the 9.5R is what you need. https://shuttleslide.com/product/ss-...otating-mount/
We also sell backing plates: https://shuttleslide.com/product/bkp-7-5r/ or https://shuttleslide.com/product/bkp-9-5-r/
We also have 5/8" diameter spacers to lift the rotating mount off the deck if you have a toe rail or raised area on the deck: https://shuttleslide.com/product/spc-7-5r/
If you do not want to spend more money on a quick release bracket, you have the ability to attach your trolling motor directly to the mounts. If you want to use your standard quick release mount such as RTA-17, MKA-21, RTA-54, RTA-62, MKA-64, those hole patterns are included in the mount, so you are all set! Quest series motors require an additional part - the QST-1 expander plate so please add that to your cart when ordering for those motors. https://shuttleslide.com/product/qst-1/ $74.99
Simply pull the pin (horizontally) and rotate the motor so the shaft clears the rub rail. Easy and simple!
