My opti beeped at me today while making a WOT run. Is one single short beep for hitting the rev limiter?
I backed off as soon as I heard it and I had my smartcraft (SC1000) on temp so I am not 100% positive I hit the limiter but I am guessing I did.

I would say yes, you touched the rev limiter, may become more often with the cooler temps
More than likely.... you did hit the limiter.
This can be "confirmed" by reading the Freeze Frame (Fault) History with the Computer Diagnostic System, or a DDT.
As long as you S LW down (or increase prop pitch), you shouldn't hear it again.
