I have 06 200 optimax with warranty thru march of 2011 can I buy a extended warranty , if I get it before the 5 year warranty ends. If so about how much $ am I looking at? Thanks in advance , If you need my serial number to tell me it will be tomorrow before I can post it.

Unfortunately, the timeframe for extended warranty purchase on that engine has expired. You MAY (possibly) be able to get it extended through Mercury directly- you can contact them at the number in the back of your owner's manual.
