Thumbs Up New 2023 Daiwa Tatula 100 including LEFT HAND MODELS@ The Tackle Trap!

The 2023 Daiwa Tatula 100 is now in stock and ready to ship, both Right and Left hand models! This newest member of the Tatula family has received a complete refresh from the frame, to Hyper-Drive design, and a lighter A7075 spool. Limited quantities are available now, check them out on the site (click the link in blue)!

Answering the call of anglers around the country Daiwa Introduces the all-new Tatula 100. A re-design of the reel frame allows anglers to achieve even greater levels of comfort and confidence. Along with a more ergonomic feel, Daiwa has integrated our patented Hyper-Drive design for the smoothest performance and power possible. While this reel is a powerhouse, the new lighter A7075 spool will also give anglers the opportunity to cast longer distances as well as achieve greater control with the use of lighter finesse baits.
The Tatula100 will continue to uphold the greatest features you come to expect including our T-wing line guide for maximum casting distance, Zero Adjuster cast control to maintain optimal spool tension, and Magforce cast control to further aid anglers in backlash prevention. Anglers will find this model available in a range of gear ratios from 6.3:1/7.1:1/ 8.1:1 in both left and right hand retrieve!

I really wish they would do a 5.4 or 5.5. The Tatula 100 would probably be the only reels in my boat if they did. I'm using Lew's 5.6 MB series for my slower stuff. I think they are missing out by not having a 5 something. I know I'd buy several.

I'd just like to see the left hand models come out at the same time as the RH models

There are definitely guys who feel that way about low IPT reels, I'm not one of them. I even deep crank with higher IPT reels now as I've found that I really don't need low IPT reels for "normal" bass fishing. The 6.3:1 Tatula 100 brings in 26.3 IPT which is pretty low!

Thanks for the orders guys! These are in stock and shipping now, at least the RH models

Alright, the LH models have finally arrived. I'm grabbing one and will put in some time with this reel very soon. I'm excited about this one!

Bumping this up. Bronzefly do you by chance know if the previous tatula's spool will fit into the newer 23 tatula?

Yes, it shares the same dimensions as the previous gen spool.
The best revenge is to have enough self-worth not to seek it.
