Took 19.7# to win on Bull Shoals lake this past Sunday (6 fish team tourney). Crankbaits and jerk baits (Suspending Rogues) seemed to be the best lures.
Went out this past weekend after a cold front had just come through........and they wouldn't hit anything I threw at em...
Tried rogues, jigs, finesse worms, and spinnerbaits.......
We had the same problem on Friday when the front was coming through up here. Not one freakin bite in over 5 hours on the lake. But on Sunday, there was bag after bag of limits turned in at the 4:00 pm weigh-in. Big bass was 5.97# as I recall and some really nice (and big) Kentucky Spotted bass were caught along with a lot of SM bass.
Hey Murph, are they still on the jerkbait pattern since this cold snap? Also, what part of the lake are they catching them? around the strip pits? I am thinking about coming up and fishing a little this weekend![]()
