What's the word on wheeler/ Wilson day or night

I Haven't been fishing in a while. Just wondering if someone could put me on what the fish are doing or what or where or when I need to plan to go.

Well, I've been on both in the past couple of weeks and I'd say night time on Wilson would get my vote. If you're going this weekend (4th of July holiday) I don't think I would go in the daytime. I went down there Memorial Day weekend and it was a madhouse with all the cruisers, pleasure boats and jet skis.

Wheeler is producing some nice fish. The bite is 15-25ft though. Havent been at night but during the day the better fish are deep.

Hoping to go to Wilson in the evening a few times next week.
What are the biting? Anybody doing any good on a night time blade this year?

I have tried wheeler a few times in the evening till dark last week but haven't had much luck. Of course I don't ever go to or know anywhere to fish on wheeler.

I have been stationed in hunstville for a few months and I brought my boat up here to work on and fish somewhere different a little, before I move back home at the end of the month.

Had a horrible night on Wilson Friday night fished from 7:15 to 1:30am.

I have never seen so many shad in my life! From fleet all the way to town creek. Auctually gets worse as you head toward wheeler dam. Flip you headlights on while runnin and it looks like frogs jumping on the highway on a warm spring night in the rain.

Un freaking real! Didn't boat a fish. Partner had 2 dinks. Had a lot of hits right at dark but couldn't stick one. Fished about every situation possible but nothing. Only fish I seen on the graph was in 35-45 ft

partner and I prolly caught 40 fish saturday from 7 to 3 am at wilson. Biggest my partner caught at 4.82. Appears alot has changed in one week there. Ran from one end to the other and didn't see the first shad jump in the headlights like the weekend before. Crazy man.
