    Guntersville

Cold and windy, I cant seem to find much!! I can only manage a few bites each day but nothing over 2lbs. I hope the weather and the fishing improves as the week goes on. I am launching out of Goose Pond and fishing North Sauty and the main channel from North Sauty to South Sauty. Anyone know where I can find some better action??

Karl, Head down around Clay's Marina and fish the islands on the right and the flats down to Seibold. Also try across from Waterfront around Moutain Lake resorts and get up in the grass. Keep looking for mats with allot of activity and try dark colorred rats. Keep hammering them :-)

    Re: Guntersville (Kerry201pro)

Thanks for the information. We found a few fish again today, all our fish have come shallow on either crankbait or spinnerbait.

My wife hooked a 4-5lber next to a small bridge across the lake and North of Goose pond but she broke it off She uses a spinning rod so I am limited with the size line I could give her, I should have put braid on it for her.

Still cold and windy, there isnt many boats out. Several continue to run way up into North Sauty creek, not sure if they are finding anything up there or not but it is the roughest area on the lake, wind is blowing straight down North Sauty and really stirring it up, especially above the bridge. Yesterday it was so rough under the bridge I couldnt get through with the trolling motor, had to start the big motor to push through, water was stacking up at the narrow opening through the bridge.
