Are you coming to fish a Tournament? I havent fished it in a while but I can tell you a few things about it if you have never been before. If you want to know how the fishing is right now you might want to send an IM to Rangerglenn. He fishes the river almost every week. Send me an IM and I will give you a few tips.
Man, that was tough bite day for me. My boater/partner managed to catch a keeper every so often, but my bites did not start till midday. I managed to get 2 quality-size (3 & 2# respectively) bites on a b/b jig back in a pocket, but they got off at the boat. Did not get my first keeper in the boat till the last hour. First was a 3#, then got a 2#, for a 5# total at the scale. Now if I had just had those 2 jig fish I would have placed in the money for sure.
