Shimano knob replacement?

I want to put a cork knob on my Sensilite 1500, anyone know if RCS will work?

I believe it will, I had my buddy who is a machinist re-grip a chronarch handle last year with cork grips. he also builds handles with a longer throw which are about two inches longer than the standard handles which are a blessing when frogging thick potomac grass and anytime you need cranking power flipping cranking long casts etc.

I want to fish up there so bad I cant stand it, to bad Im scared of it. Ive hurd some horror stories about tearin up your prop, lower unit, ect. I better just stick with Smith Mt & Buggs.

I have fished the river since I was 16 or so now in 31 as long as you stay in the main river running and idle shallow water you will be fine I have had 150 fish days up there in june and september and lots of 50+fish days thruout the summer
the rule on the potomac is as long as you have 3ft of water your good

you have to worry more about having enough baits for the day than you do hitting something
