    Cowl Mod Instructions.

    I have a 2001 225 EFI 3.0. A cowl mod has been mentioned repeatadly on the forum. I can't seem to find instruction on what to mod, does anybody have a link or an explaination? Thanks

    Well I can't seem to find it either..... suspect there may be an issue with the "search" feature again.

    Anybody have a link?

    When you search you need to click the archive button! Here is on that shows a finished pic. If you search there are probably 40 threads on how to do this!!

    Its much more simple than I thought. Thanks guys, if it works as good as I've read that will be something! That damn acrchive button in the search gets me every time...

    Did the cowl mod with 1" spacers. Got out on the river for testing. It actually ran over 2 mph faster top end. I'm impressed...
