    2014 Skeeter FX21 with a 250 yahama

Hi all, looking to purchase my first bass boat. I wanted to ask your opinions on the following skeeter boat. The good bad and ugly. Let me hear it.

    2014 Skeeter fx21
    Yamaha SHO with 519 hours
    atlas jack plate
Minn kits I pilot 112 lb
    all Garmons linked
    boat in excellent condition

$38,950 is this a good deal or bad deal?
anything I should look for when I go check this out?
    any advise would be great.

Has the lower unit been replaced? How many owners, service records, water pump replaces, all gas filters and plugs, fuel/water filter replaced, how old are batteries, oil hubs and brakes on trailer been replaced, bunk boards replaced, tires worn, take to dealer for compression check on motor.

KB you forgot to check the air in the tires!
    50 hours a year for a 10 year old isn't bad.
The compression check is always a good thing. If it's taken care of you can see that.
There is a reason people like finding garage queen's, they're sweet. Good Luck!

Their also unpredictable which can lead to an huge out of pocket expense further on down the road. Take to Skeeter dealer and have them check everything out. This being your first boat, their are several things that you aren't aware of when buying a used boat.
