    Createx Paint

I am going to try my hand a airbrushing some jig heads. Can anybody give me some advise on using createx paint. Does it need to by thinned out or can I use it straight from the bottle? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Most of the colors you can shoot straight from bottle. The pearls will be a bit tougher and I have to thin them a bit.

What do you think with and to what ratios?

I use non ammonia Windex to thin with and I just want a milk like consistency. No real ratios just eyeball it.

Blacks I mix 2:1 two being paint, orange straight, whites 1:1, reds 2:1, Smokey colors 1:2 or 1:3, yellows 2:1, pearls are 1:1 and sometimes 1:2 if I am "dusting" the backs I'll go 1:3.

When I use them, I cut the paint with water. If you have your ap right, there isn't any need for anything else.
My wife is always using water based stuff on shirts and she cuts it with bottled water, just like I do. It'll work nicely.

This is the biggest problem I have when painting. The paint is either too thick and my gun wont flow it right or it is too thin and I get runs. It is VERY frustrating.

I was talking to Pizz the other day and he suggested using the illustration base to thin with instead of water. Said it would help tremendously. I am ordering some today and will see if it helps. I am about to the point of quitting because I get so pissed at my brush.
