Wrapping guides - got some fuzz

I wrapped my guides and cut off the tag ends but it appears that they weren't cut off very crisp (probably my razor was dull). When I applied my first coat of finish I have some fuzzies that are poking through and look pretty fugly. Is there anything i can do at this point to fix them?
    Thanks guys.

close shave with razor, apply 2nd coat of finish. Happens all the time, just shave it flat and you'll never know after the 2nd coat.

Blades are cheap. Always use one that is sharp. Also, you can get those fuzzies when you put to much tension on the tag when you cut it.

Try trimming the tag end before you pull it back thru. That's what I do and there's never any fuzzies sticking up.

YEP. If you do enough wraps after you insert the "pull device" you can actually trim the tag end and it will not come back out from under the windings.

    Did that make sense?

With that explanation it does make sense now! Will try it on my next build. Shaving it after the first finish coat also worked very well. Threw out my old razor blade!!
