Golden Shiner and a 1st attempt at a Gill

Any ideas on doing anything different I'm all ears. Just started building and painting.

Golden shiner pattern, built from cedar, shes right at two inches long.

1st attempt at a Gill pattern. Not very good but with right paints I think it ll be easier. Trying to mix a few colors to make the right colors.

I use craft paint. I'll find a picture on the net of the fish or baitfish I want to copy. Print it out and take it to the craft store. Match paint colors to my needs and paint away. I have found this the most realistic looking method, not to mention I can repeat colors day after day, year after year w/o trying to mix and duplicate colors.
