What oil should i use on plastic worms?

I like YUM plastic worms but they come heavily covered in salt that washes off as soon as they hit water, except for what ends up in the boat. I want to wash the salt off and put them back in their bags. What oil should I use to lubricate them? I know I can order from Lurecraft but don't want to pay as much shipping as the cost of the oil. Is there another option? Thanks.

Ditto on upper hand scents. If your looking for scent. Keep in mind oil will eventually harden the plastic.

I wouldn't pre soak them in gulp, it is water based, and will change the color of the worms and make them softer over time.
