What rating for a battery isolater should I be looking for using on my Merc 2000 225 EFI ? Manual say's 2000 RPM @ 60 AMP's, so would a 75 AMP Isolater work ?

Ok ...you`ve got me ......what is it and what is it`s purpose......????
Allows you to run two 12V batteries and they both get charged equally, but when you turn the motor off you drain power out of the spare battery not the motor's starting battery. The isolator keeps them seperated so you always have power in your starting battery.

You might want to look at the Combiner by Yandina, Ltd. It's sold by Jones Trolling Motor and you can get info. on it on the Electrical/Trolling Motor forum. I bought one early in the year and it works great.
