A while back someone had posted some baits they had painted using some close to chrome paint. I am looking for a name brand so I can pick some up. The stuff I got out of a rattle can looks great but I cant spray very well on top of it with another color. I also sprayed some clear coat over one that I painted and it turned the chrome dull. Does anyone know if devcon 2t would do the same?
Auto Air makes an aluminum airbrush paint,Its not quite chrome but close.
thanks, do other colors stick pretty well to it? trying to make some silver baits with black and blue backs
Createx and Auto Air work well together. Make sure your 1st coat is a good adhesive coat or base coat.
Ive used the chrome paint from krylon,it works well. It does dull when ya clear it,but still looks better then plain silver. i got mine at hobby lobby.
