    Praying NE OK Tornados AGAIN....

Big tornados tonight in NE OK just north of us.. These tornados have been on the ground for a very long ways going right down highway 20 from just east of Owasso thru Claremore, Pryor, Salina and still going heading to Arkansas.. The storms are still strong and don't seem to be weakening yet.. They have gone through some pretty populated areas... Lots of emergency vehicles moving...
Prayers up for our neighbors up north

I hope the damage is not severe. We caught that storm pretty hard in NW Arkansas too. Looks like we had some tornadic activity in the downtown Rogers area. Massive power outages, probably for days, which we are part of (thank goodness for generators). Talked to a deputy this morning at 4am that was cruising our rural area. Said there were several fatalities, roads blocked, quite a mess.

Pretty rare that the storms from Tornado Alley make it this far into the Ozarks with this much force.

So far they are reporting 2 deaths in Pryor
Aerial footage showing homes etc. wiped out east of Claremore including an RV park at the casino.
this system was vicious for over 100 miles well into Arkansas. I know it went through Rogers/Bentonville but not sure how far east.
I'm ready for this spring storm s#!t to chill out!

Its here now, we rarely lose power but its off for now. The emergency sirens went off before we lost power and its raining buckets. Hopefully this is as bad as this storm gets!

It passed over my mom's house about two miles south of our house, and touched down about two miles later. She has a lot of tree limbs down. We just have clusters of leaves blown off trees.

I was so tired and sore from working in the yard all day, I stayed up just long enough to hear the end of the Big-12 baseball championship, and it was lights out. My wife and I both slept through all the alarms. we have many friends in the Claremore area, and somehow it found a path through without damaging any or their property.

We live about 2.5 miles north of where the tornado tracked, and it was a mile wide where we went through. We went down this morning to see if we could get to where we were supposed to haul some hay. There were quite a few structures damaged, but the amount of trees destroyed was mind boggling (this is 2-3 miles east of Will Rogers Downs). I would think there has to be enough firewood to heat all of Claremore through next winter. We know 2 families who were totally wiped out and several more that suffered quite a bit of damage.
