    Top Secret Bait?

What's a bait (lure) you regularly throw that most anglers do not? Mine is a Devils Horse in the bumble bee color

    Can’t tell you, it’s a secret..

I like forgotten baits tho…. Baby torpedo puts a whole bunch of fish in my boat in summer…. I do tweak/modify them slightly tho.. cut the hooks off and put split rings and bigger short shank trebles..

I got some circuit board shallow running crankbaits from lure parts on line years ago and the golden shiner color has caught me lots of fish.

I don’t know about a u tail but culprit or bass assassin ribbon tail worms in tequila and red Shad are always in my boat… I forget to throw them but it seems like whenever I put one on, I catch fish..

Devis horse….with a few tweeks. And the most surprising thing, it catches fish. My ex father in law taught me how to do it over 40 years ago.

Funny you mention that. I had a little trouble finding some normal u tale worms. I had to resort to e bay to find my favorite worm, a 6 inch sickle tail. I’ve caught more fish in my life on those than most anything else. A 1/4 ounce gray Hot Spot might outdistance them.

Not anything special but in my local river a black boyah clacking buzz bait catches them like nothing I have used. The water is black as night so everyone looks at me crazy when I toss the black buzz. Most ppl throw white buzz baits here. The black buzz has done me very VERY well on this river. Even when ppl see what I'm using they can't seem to justify using black buzz in black water..lol
