25hp 4 stroke EFI no fuel at Schroeder valve no fuel pump sound.....

This engine has sat for a number of years on the boat in a garage. Always ran great. Now the engine spins when you hit the key but won't fire. I do not hear the high pressure fuel pump turning on like I do on my 225 efi 2 stroke when I turn the key on. Should I?? When I depress the needle in the shroeder valve on the fuel rail I don't even get a drip of gas. I can't find any fuses other than the 20amp at the top on starboard side. It is good. I drained the vst and filled it back up a couple times using the primer bulb as well as the inline fuel filter. No trash in the fuel filter. I seem to be getting a good flow of fuel from the primer bulb to the vst. I did get the engine to fire a little by spraying some starting fluid in the intake area while someone turned the key to start so it seems I have spark. Any help would be great. TIA!! Hans

Responded in a PM as well- check for voltage to the fuel pump, likely the pump is bad or there's not fuel available at the bottom of the pump.
