Need some help. Trailer
Embarrassing to admit, but after a long day of fishing and putting the boat away at night, I did not disconnect my emergency brake away cord from my truck, and I pulled off without knowing it. So I知 in a little bit of a pinch because I知 away from home, I need to travel three hours down the road to get back home. My questions: is this something that I can replace easily? And if I知 not able to replace it, can I still drive the trailer without the emergency breakaway cable? I think it has a reset underneath a clip that you just left but not completely sure. Thanks for any help guys, really appreciate it.

Just reset it until you get home. There are instructions on You Tube showing how to run the cable back to stock config.
A couple years ago some idiot pulled all the brake-away cables at the local launch....mine included.
It's a pain in the ass to re-thread but you can do it yourself.
