    Nee sho on 09 520

    Have 09 520 with a new 250 sho. Getting 69 out of it hydraulic jack plate one person half tank. 25 yamaha prop. Anyone else with same set up? What kind of #s u getting

    K. Was expecting little more. Would get 72 with my 09 hpdi 250. Was expecting at least the same. Thanks

    How new? Very possible it will improve once fully broken in. I have a 2008 Z21 with the same basic setup and I’ve maxed at 72. Different hull but I suspect I’m heavier. 70 on tournament day down here in the humid south is very doable with my setup.

    Thats about right for that boat with a 250, if you want more you need to have Hydro Tec flash that motor to a 300, that is the main advantage to owning an SHO. You are definitely leaving some performance on the table if you don't do that.
