2006 HPDI 250 Issue When Decelerating
I purchased a re-built 06 HPDI 250 in December. Break-in period went good. In February, it started having a miss type sensation when decelerating. Mostly it is in the 3500-4500 rpm range. The motor idles fine and will go to WOT great but when coming off pad is when this is noticed mostly. The feeling would be like running through leaves, mushy. It is back with the engine builder as it has less than 15 hours on the rebuild. I had seen someone posted on another forum page about possible voltage so I have replaced the battery with a new 31 AGM (didn't help). I also saw on here at some point someone had mentioned the exhaust tuner causing problems. I brought this up to the mechanic to look at. Anyone else heard of this, had similar issues, etc. Thanks in advance.
