If you want to clear it yourself in a few minutes, just pour bleach in stand pipe and go outside to see it flow out pipe. Do it once per year....otherwise call an AC guy.

It's been very humid this year. My dehumidifier has been working overtime.

That sounds simple enough. I’ll give that a try. Thanks.

    This.^^^^
Compressed air works best. Hold the air gun in place with a rag around the pipe opening (should be a Tee in the line for cleaning). Blow it out, pour hot water down it to flush it , then follow up with a little bleach.

Shop vac on the lines outside the house.

Quick, easy, no chance of separating a PVC connector inside a wall.

The last time I had the HVAC guy clear it, I watched what, where, and how he did it using a CO2 gun. Since then, when I have issues, I’ve used my compressor with a blowgun attachment followed up with bleach. Saved me $175 a pop.

I see you are in Texas. Code says it should be tied into a lavatory p-trap in a bathroom. Outside drain is the pan overflow for AC and water heater pans. AC guy will make quick work of it. It’s usually a riser pipe. I keep a funnel in my attic. They say to use bleach. I’ve even dropped some drain cleaner. Probably not supposed to, but I did.

Now they have to have the annoying sensor that shuts the unit off....

Little update…had an AC guy come out. Drain line indeed clogged and drains into a bathroom drain. I heard him using some kind of pressure system. This system was installed in 2018 and hadn’t had any service checks, so I had that done as well. Everything was good other than the clog.
Cost me $170 for the call and I think it was completely money well spent.

You pay skilled people for what they know, not what they do. Good to hear you're up and running.

And to those who would have howled "$170 to unclog a line ?",you're the ones who won't get a return phone call when you have an issue in the future.
    Ranting incoherently

Honestly…I thought it would be higher. Totally pleased with the price. This company came recommended by the plumber I use who is also really good people. These guys do the required work and charge a fair price. While this guy was solving my issue and servicing my system, I was on the phone in the AC bullshitting about fishing with a bud.
