    Need battery post adapter

Can you recommend a good battery post adapter for lithium batteries? I have 8 wires on my positive post and the nut was almost impossible to get on. I found some from lithiumHub. Is there anything better?

Look at the ones on drewcrafts website. They are an aluminum plate with 4 studs plus the hole for the battery post. Andy is a great guy to deal with also.

Tinned copper…..significantly better conductor than aluminum.

However, a better solution is to use a dual terminal block.

Nut or bolt? My batteries use a bolt, which is Metric, and a longer one can be used.

second the blue seas. not supposed to use unplated steel or aluminum on a boat. aluminum will create an aluminum oxide ring, especially on the B- post, then youll have a high resistance condition.

there was a pic of one of the lithium hubs aluminum post terminal that the guy thought the studs rusted. hate to say but that wasnt rust but heat from a high resistance connection caused by the aluminum oxide ring.

Interesting looking. I wonder what it is made of. I see no spec’s on the block or hardware denoting quality or material used. My concerns are conductivity and resistance to corrosion. I think I read everything on Amazon and no mention of what it is made of. I wonder how to insulate it but something could be rigged. Much cheaper than the Mercury Block. Anybody with the answers? Thanks Bob

One of the reviewers for the V-Gate 12 way says it is made out of aluminum.

Just went to the V-Gate site and it says 6061 aluminum on the 20 way.

I still did not find that, but I am pretty sure that is what it is. I am suspicious as the manufacturer would have been bragging if it was copper tinned block or something about marine use. I will put that off for now. Bob
