    Mercury Prop on Yamaha SHO

Will tempest or a fury prop work on a 2023 Yamaha 250SHO? If so, what hub kit do I need to be able to make it happen. Thanks.

You will need a Mercury hub kit for Yamaha. I run a Tempest Plus and a Rev4 on my Yamaha F150.

Quicksilver Flo-Torque II Hub kit 835274Q1. $54 on Amazon or Solas 203X Rubex hub kit about $70. Solas will be softer shifting since it’s all rubber not hard plastic.

Yes, they both work. I forget the # of the torque flo hub kit.

Mine were listed at 100 ft lb for the kits to put a Merc prop on a Yamaha

I believe the 100 ft lb kits are the ones with this extra plastic bushing in them. Without the extra bushing it is the lower number mentioned above.

Getting the cotter pin to line up will pretty much determine torque.
