    Prop to Pad… this high??

According to my measurements when I get my rig to 2.5” prop to pad (as recommended by Mark Croxton), my atlas jack plate needs to go almost to its highest point. It’s got maybe one inch before it’s all the way up.

Do some of you run your atlas plate this high at top speed?

Where's the engine mounted on the jackplate, what holes? It may be mounted too high.

If you test and that’s what it likes you could move the engine so the plate is in the middle when at the best PTP

What boat is it on? On my Triton I have the motor mounted in the 3rd hole on a 10" Z lock jack plate ran up all the way and that puts me around 2.5-2.75", I have thought about moving it up a hole. Not all hulls are the same though, many don't like a high motor.

It’s in a 521r and Croxton said to run it around 2.5” prop to pad so that requires a high engine
